Through His Eyes

Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.Rom.12:2 (MSG) Then you can see things through His eyes.

Movies: 2006 Most Redeeming Films

I used to want to see all the upcoming academy award nominated movies before the award show. Not so any more. There are many, even academy award nominee movies, we have no desire to see...

My wife and I still love going to the movies. We like going to the before 6:oopm matinee at Tinseltown 'cause we pay only $4.00. Then we don't feel so bad about the outrageously expensive popcorn and diet coke....

Christianity Today has an article on the "Ten Most Redeeming Films of 2006."

It starts like this......."What do a shy-but-brilliant speller, a dead Mexican guy, a street thug from Soweto, a compassionate spider, an anti-Nazi young woman, and the baby Jesus have in common? They're all in movies that we've just voted the ten most redeeming films of 2006."
